4-Hour Fall Prevention (SST305-FPR-E-0.4CEUs)

Description
The 4-Hour Fall Prevention course is designed to train construction workers on how to recognize, avoid, minimize, and correct fall hazards commonly found on job sites. This online course covers essential topics such as identifying fall risks, responsibilities of the competent person, different types of fall protection systems, proper use of personal fall arrest equipment, calculating safe fall distances, and selecting appropriate anchorage points.

Falls remain one of the leading causes of injuries in the construction industry, making this training an important part of maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Students will gain practical knowledge to help prevent accidents and improve overall job site safety.

Upon successful completion, students will receive 0.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that count toward the NYC Site Safety Training (SST) requirements under NYC Local Law 196. Workers are required to complete 40 hours of Site Safety Training (4 CEUs) to meet compliance standards.
